Hi all

We were trying to install the process template in our new installation of TFS 2010 and the setup had two errors, the one involved the Sharepoint ( Sharepoint V3) and the second the Reports. The log tell that the installer was looking for a SQL Server 2005 installation nor the SQL Server 2008.

The Scrum Template from MS installed OK.

¿Is there any workaround?

Hi Juan,

SfTS v3 should work fine in Windows Server 2008 R2. Please note that the installer does not support SharePoint 2010. If you have SP 2010 then the below linked blog post explains how to perform a work around.

I am unsure on your second error. The reporting services instance can be hosted in either SQL 2008 or 2005. Maybe you should send the installation log file to scrumforteamsystem@emc.com so I can take a look at the error myself.
