Description:
The sprint work item is the intermediate element of the project life cycle model. It resides between the Release and Team Sprint elements and provides a roll-up data point.
Sprints both implement Releases and are implemented by Team Sprints.
Calculated Fields:
In the version template sprint objects are a representation of one or more Team Sprint objects. Used to group teams that work on a single sprint. Most fields in this work item are automatically calculated by the event service.
- Capacity (Hours) - The sum of linked Team Sprint Capacity Hours.
- Planned Work (Hours) - The sum of all Sprint Backlog Task estimated hours that have a planning scope beneath this sprint.
- Sprint Start Date - The earliest Team Sprint Start Date of all linked Team Sprints.
- Sprint End Date - The latest Team Sprint End Date of all linked Team Sprints.
