Work Item: Impediment
Description:
The impediment work item is used to describe situations that are stopping the completion of work on a Product Backlog Item. Impediments have their own unique relationship with PBIs using the "Impedes" linkage type. When this linage is used, the status of the impediment directly affects the status of the PBI.
A PBI cannot be "Done" if it has linked "Open" impediments.
