Work Item: Acceptance Test
Description:
Introduced in the version 3 template, the acceptance test work item is both a contract of acceptance, Product Backlog Item to Bug linkage and Microsoft Test Manager integration work item.
Previous scrum templates included a field in the PBI entitled "Conditions of Acceptance". This work item provides the same concept but as a first class citizen of the template.
Acceptance Tests must be linked to PBIs with the "Microsoft.VSTS.Common.TestedBy" linkage type.
Acceptance Tests must be linked to Bugs with the "Scrum.FailedBy" linkage type.
